TAA Education Conference & Lone Star Expo, San Antonio, Texas April 25 – 27, 2018

TAA was quite the experience this year! Attendance was amazing and everyone seemed ready to learn. Before the expo, attendees enjoyed TAA incoming President Traci Hall speaking at the “Be What’s Next General Opening Session” which also featured none other than Tony Romo.

Each year, the Texas Apartment Association Education Foundation (TAAEF) holds a raffle for a new car. A big congratulations is in order to Neci Shepherd with Madera Residential for winning this year’s TAAEF raffle. Neci won the brand new beautiful 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia!

Our team discussed our impressions from TAA this year, and it was near unanimous that the educational seminars were the highlight of our time in San Antonio. We covered a lot of ground in the seminars, and each topic was engaging, thoughtful, and even humorous. It’s an amazing feeling to learn something new or to be challenged to think about things differently – even as a veteran in an industry. The bar was certainly set for next year’s conference in Houston April 10 – 12th, 2019!
