2020 brought a dramatic shift in market conditions for the multifamily industry. In a Top 5 entry from last week, the five markets with the most property manager turnover during 2020 were highlighted. This week, let’s have a look at the five markets with the most properties that changed management companies in 2020.
Top 5: 2020 Property Manager Turnover | 2020 | 2019 |
---|---|---|
Dallas/Fort Worth | 560 | 533 |
Houston | 335 | 386 |
Atlanta | 323 | 342 |
Phoenix | 293 | 253 |
Los Angeles - Orange County | 234 | 202 |
ALN logged about 600 fewer properties that changed management companies in 2020 compared to in 2019 despite there being more properties in operation in 2020.
