2020 brought a dramatic shift in market conditions for the multifamily industry. Today’s entry for the Top 5 series will be for property manager turnover during the roller coaster year.
Top 5: 2020 Property Manager Turnover | 2020 | 2019 |
---|---|---|
Dallas/Fort Worth | 1,900 | 2,302 |
Houston | 1,441 | 1,607 |
Atlanta | 999 | 1,103 |
Seattle | 870 | 958 |
Denver | 826 | 980 |
ALN logged about 3,000 fewer property manager changes throughout 2020 compared to in 2019 despite there being more properties in 2020. This decrease in turnover was observed in each of the five markets with the most manager turnover, and both numbers will be reflected for each market.
