2020 brought a dramatic shift in market conditions for the multifamily industry. One of those shifts was a reduction in property manager turnover. So far this year, activity has picked back up. For this installment of the Top 5 series, the top five markets for manager turnover year-to-date will be listed and the number of changes for the same portion of 2020 will also be included.

ALN has logged about 1,500 more property manager changes compared to this time last year. This year’s rebound in turnover activity was observed in each of the five markets with the most manager turnover. All told, about 15,000 manager changed have already been logged for 2021.
